For schools and teachers
A quiz in class and a parent evening without the hassle
Get the whole class involved with a live quiz on the whiteboard, plan a parent evening without emailing back and forth and ask pupils what they thought of the lesson.
In class you want everyone to take part, including those who don't raise their hand quickly. Outside class you want to reach parents fast. Peiley does both: live polls and quizzes in class, and a date poll and questionnaires for parents and colleagues.

What you use Peiley for
A live quiz in class
Pupils join with a PIN or QR code, no account needed. Set a timer of 10 to 120 seconds per question, reveal the right answer when you're ready and show the leaderboard. Answering correctly and quickly earns the most points.
- Live polling
Planning a parent evening
Parents mark per time whether it suits them and you see which moments work best. You can send a reminder to anyone who hasn't responded. Peiley doesn't build an appointment schedule: you divide the meetings yourself afterwards.
- Date poll
A lesson or course review
Ask pupils or course participants in a short questionnaire what they thought of the lesson. In anonymous mode you only see the answers in groups of at least five, so nobody can be recognised by the time or the link.
- Survey
Sample questions you can copy
- What is 7 × 8? (quiz question with timer)
- How clear was today's explanation? (1 to 5)
- Which time suits you for the parent meeting?
- What could be better about this lesson?
Good to know
- A live session has a maximum of 1,000 participants.
- Open answers can still make someone recognisable, even in anonymous mode. Mention that when you ask for honest feedback.
Frequently asked questions
Do pupils need an account or app?
No. They join in the browser on their phone, tablet or laptop, with the PIN or the QR code.
Does it work on the whiteboard?
Yes. Open the presenter screen in the browser of the computer connected to the board. Pupils answer on their own device.
Where are the answers stored?
Polls and answers are stored in Google Cloud in the EU (the Netherlands and Belgium). Your own sign-in as a teacher runs through Google's Firebase Authentication, processed in the US. Pupils don't sign in.
