Alternative to Kahoot
A Kahoot alternative for quizzes in class, at work and at the club
A quiz with timer, points and leaderboard, up to 1,000 participants per session on every plan. Players join with a PIN or QR code, without an account.
Kahoot is well known in many schools. If you want a quiz for a large group without a paid plan, or a survey or date poll next to the quiz, Peiley fits. Kahoot is stronger in quizzes as homework and has a large question bank. Kahoot's prices and features are indicative and were checked in October 2026 on kahoot.com and kahoot360.com.

Frequently asked questions
Can pupils join without an account?
Yes. They join in the browser on their phone, tablet or laptop with the six-digit PIN or the QR code. For the leaderboard they fill in a name; a nickname is fine too.
Does it work on the whiteboard?
Yes. Open the presenter screen in the browser of the computer connected to the board. Players answer on their own device.
Can I play a quiz again?
You can ask a question again; that starts a new round. If you want to play the whole quiz again later, duplicate the poll.
Can I import my kahoots?
No, Peiley can't import quizzes from Kahoot. You prepare the questions again in Peiley.
Is the quiz free?
Yes. Live quizzes are in every plan, including the free plan, with a maximum of 1,000 participants per session.
