Planning a parent evening with 30 parents who each have their own schedule takes a lot of time by email. In Peiley you put the possible evenings and times in a date poll. Parents mark per time whether it suits them: yes, maybe or no. You see which moments work best. Note: Peiley doesn't build an appointment schedule and doesn't track a maximum per time. You divide the meetings yourself afterwards.
How it works
1Pick the parent evening template
You get a date poll with six times: 7 pm and 8 pm on three evenings, with a 'maybe' option. Change the dates and times or add times, for example 10-minute blocks (up to 50 times per question).
2Share the link via the school app or email
Post the link in your parent group, for example in Parro, or let Peiley send invitations from your contacts. You can send a reminder to people who haven't responded yet.
3See which times work
Per time you see how many parents say yes, maybe or no, and Peiley highlights the best moment. Export to CSV or print the results.
Why Peiley for this use case
Data in the EU
Polls and responses are stored in Google Cloud in the Netherlands and Belgium. Our privacy page lists the services we use. You can request a data processing agreement for your school board via privacy@peiley.net.
Pick and confirm one evening
If you pick one moment for everyone, you confirm that date. Parents who said yes or maybe and filled in their email address receive a calendar invitation. So ask for an email address if you want to use this.
Reminders for those who haven't responded
If you invite parents from your contacts, you can send a reminder to those who haven't responded. Peiley doesn't send reminders right before the meetings themselves.

Frequently asked questions
Can I collect student data via Peiley?
Only ask what you really need, such as the parent's name and which times suit them. Peiley stores polls and responses in the EU. You can request a data processing agreement via privacy@peiley.net. There's no retention setting: delete the poll yourself when you no longer need the data.
Can parents book a fixed meeting time?
Not as a booking. Peiley records which times suit parents, but doesn't lock a time and doesn't track a maximum per time. You can create short times, for example 10 minutes. You divide and email the final times yourself afterwards.
Do parents need an account?
No. Parents open the link, fill in their name if you ask for it and mark which times suit them. You decide yourself whether to ask for a name or email address.
