Live polling
Live polling: let the room vote with a PIN or QR code
Ask the room a question, everyone votes on their own phone without an account and you show the results on the big screen. With quiz questions, a timer and a leaderboard.
With a live poll you involve everyone in the room or in the online meeting, including those who don't raise their hand quickly. Making a live poll takes a few minutes: you prepare your questions, start the session and participants join with a six-digit PIN or a QR code. Live polling is in every plan, including the free plan.
How to make a live poll
1Start a live session
Prepare your questions: single choice, multiple choice, a scale or an open question. Then start the session.
2Share the PIN or QR code
Participants enter the six-digit PIN on their phone, tablet or laptop or scan the QR code. No app or account needed.
3Show the results
Open the presenter screen on the computer connected to the projector or whiteboard. In a live session the votes come in straight away.

| Points | Right and fast earns 500 to 1,000 points |

| Leaderboard | Shows who's on top; a nickname is fine |
| Participants | Up to 1,000 per session, on every plan |
Polling: what does the room think?
Ask for an opinion, let people choose between proposals or ask for a score. The results are on the presenter screen, and you decide when the next question comes. That way you know right away where the group stands during a training, lesson or meeting.
Live polling for trainers and speakersA live quiz with timer, points and leaderboard
Mark the right answer to a choice question and set a timer. Whoever answers correctly and quickly gets the most points. The results only appear when you reveal them, and the leaderboard shows who's on top. Asking a question again starts a new round.

Good to know
- A live session has a maximum of 1,000 participants.
- There's no Q&A where the audience asks its own questions and votes on them.
- There's no connection with PowerPoint or Google Slides: you present from the browser. Exporting to PowerPoint or as an image isn't possible.
- In a live session Peiley doesn't check who votes. If everyone may only vote once, send personal invitations in anonymous mode.
